Java zeichnet langsam unter Windows

Wer das Problem hat, dass seine Java-Anwendung – zum Beispiel Freemind oder Visual GC – unter Windows wie in Zeitlupe die Fensterinhalte malt, der sollte mal diesen Parameter ausprobieren:
-Dsun.java2d.noddraw=true
